Description: The main focus of the workshop is to help watermen become better business managers and will be offering a variety of presentations representing important topics for commercial watermen, including legal issues for your boat, the reality about insurance needs, basic accounting practices for your fishing business, and on-going marketing initiatives by Maryland Seafood Marketing. There will also be a presentation by the US Coast Guard on new safety issues for commercial watermen. Speakers will include maritime lawyers, accountants, insurance and other professionals representing their respective fields of expertise.

Instructions: Course is free and limited to the first 40 registrants. Pre-registration is required as walk-ins will not be accepted.
